A huge thanks to our ongoing volunteers!
Without you we would never be where we are today.

Volunteers are a very important part of our program. Many thanks goes out to all the local businesses, organizations, service clubs and individual community members, who donate endless hours each year to make our program successful.

Volunteers come out to our program to help with the Breakfast Schools. Currently George Fitton School & King George School require assistance. Our program operates from Monday to Friday every week. Volunteers are asked to help the Breakfast Coordinators cook and prepare breakfast, serve students, clean up and visit with students. We ask our Volunteers to bring a big smile and a helping hand each day.

The program welcomes anyone interested in volunteering in the program. If you need more information or have further questions please call/email Angie at 204-724-2893 or ang.bfft@gmail.com

Food for Thought represents the community in partnering in the fight against children going to school hungry. Our thoughts are that if there is only one child in our community going to school hungry then that is one too many. Every child deserves an opportunity to learn the benefits of having a nutritional breakfast.
