United Way Brandon

United Way of Brandon & District seeks to enhance community life and build stronger, healthier communities by connecting community needs to community resources. Through an effective annual fundraising campaign, the United Way of Brandon maximizes available financial resources to enable our member agencies to improve our community’s quality of life.

In 2018 the United Way Brandon & District committed $20,000 over 2 years to Brandon’s Food for Thought Program. This funding will allow our program to grow, be more financially secure, develop ongoing policies, support and secure staffing to provide service in 18 schools serving over 50,000 meals a year. This funding will also strengthen the program so it can continue to support the youth in our community with a safe and secure environment and provide a healthy nutritional start to each day which enables students to be better prepared to learn.
