Cando Rail Services has committed $7,500 a year starting in 2015 to Brandon’s Food for Thought program, which provides breakfast and snacks to children in need at 19 schools across the city. “Food for Thought is doing important work in the schools of this community and we are happy to partner with such an inspirational program,” says Cando Marketing and Communications Coordinator Julie Pomehichuk. “No child should go hungry and Cando is pleased our financial commitment will help bring better nutrition to youth in our community.” “After volunteering and seeing the kids enjoying their breakfast and knowing a full stomach will improve their entire day was really heartwarming to witness,” says Carlisle. “Food for Thought makes all this happen and Cando is happy to have a small part.”
