We accept food donations including breakfast and snack items, kitchen equipment, disposable dishes, utensils and monetary donations. Your support is so greatly appreciated and we can't thank you enough for helping our program run!
Volunteers are a very important part of our program. Many thanks to local businesses, organizations, service clubs and individual community members who donate endless hours to make our program successful!
We would like to say a special thank you to Saputo (Saputo in Brandon) for donating a whopping 2592 litres of chocolate milk yesterday! Not only were we able to give this out to our food bank clients, we had excess to share with our community partners like Brandon’s Food for Thought, Helping Hands, Brandon Bear Clan, 7th Street Access Centre, Brandon Energy Efficiency Program (BEEP), Public Health (PMH) community mobile unit, The Brandon Friendship Center, and Crocus Plains High School. Thank you for helping make a difference in the Brandon community and for giving us the opportunity to graciously share with others! #thankfulthursday#moooovingexperience#thankyoudairymuch 🐮
Food for Thought represents the community in partnering in the fight against children going to
school hungry. Our thoughts are that if there is only one child in our community going to school
hungry then that is one too many. Every child deserves an opportunity to learn the benefits of
having a nutritional breakfast.
